About
The Carroll Ballers program is a unique service opportunity that combines the game of basketball with an original mentoring program for residents of the Cuyahoga County Juvenile Detention Center (CCJDC). The goal is peer-to-peer mentoring and support to choose a productive path after their time at the CCJDC.
The mission of The Carroll Ballers is to empower young men and women who are involved in the juvenile justice system with the ability to face and overcome adversity with confidence, learn from losses and mistakes, achieve success with humility, and be always striving to improve in order to help them be successful in their home environments and reducing the cycle of recidivism.
