For Freedoms Town Hall: Freedom from Fear

Teens and Gun Violence

Presented by moCa Cleveland in collaboration with For Freedoms, the Ohio Arts Council, and The City Club of Cleveland, hosted by Campus International High School.

From rampant mass school shootings across the nation to the insidious daily experience of guns and gun violence by teens living in Cleveland, this town hall will be led by teens with supporting panelists from here and beyond. Hosted by For Freedoms co-founder and artist Eric Gottesman and moderated by CEO of the City Club, Dan Moulthrop, the program features guest panelists including Creative Director of March for our Lives and Stoneman Douglas alumnus Jammal Lemy, acclaimed Cleveland-born rapper Ezri, and New York-based artist Shaun Leonardo, who also will lead a workshop and performance with teens called Testimony that examines the experience and effects of gun violence through movement.

This will be an off-campus event. You need to pre-register so we can provide transportation. Bus will leave from RecPlex.
